Born and raised in Winnipeg, Zoe grew up in River Heights, admiring all the mid-century Bungalows. As a young girl, Zoe knew she wanted to pursue a creative career. Constantly singing, dancing, creating, and rearranging her room, Zoe explored all ways to express herself and assert independence. In true Zoe fashion, when her parents said “NO” to getting a Bachelor of Education, she applied for Environmental Design - ironically, the only other degree named B.Ed. Enthralled by the world of design, Zoe embarked on seven years of school at the University of Manitoba. This completely reshaped who she was and how she saw the world around her. Suddenly, she’s in every restaurant petting the upholstery, or at coffee shops, looking under the counter (did they leave that side unfinished?!).

Zoe graduated from the U of M with her Master of Interior Design in Spring 2020. Over her practicum, she designed a healing centre for survivors of sexual violence. As she researched, digging deeper into gendered space (how gender and other social categorizations impact the way we live in the world), she set her goals high: “How can I create an Inclusive and Supportive Healing environment?” It was throughout this process that she developed her design philosophy, informed by Intersectional Feminism: “I believe that all people matter, and so, designers should consider and respond to the needs of all users - which requires inclusivity regardless of gender, sex, sexuality, race, class, or physical ability.” She utilizes this research and her professional expertise to design meaningful places with a positive impact.

Zoe designs for people first, always focusing on the “why” behind the details. She creates spaces that don’t just reflect you – they evolve with you. Through your rituals and routines, we are making magic of the mundane. Zoe has practiced collaboratively on both residential and commercial projects over the past five years. Whether it’s a renovation or a new build, Zoe loves the challenge each new project and client brings. While her work is grounded in function, it is elevated by soul.

Aside from her professional pursuits, Zoe loves thrifting and hunting on Facebook Marketplace for a vintage steal. She is a self-proclaimed “Swiftie” and can tell you the lore behind (almost) every lyric. She’s a Scorpio sun, Leo moon and rising, meaning she blends emotional depth with bold, creative vision. In her spare time, Zoe loves walking her rescue mutt, Dexter and decompressing from a long day with yoga.
